Insensitive President Obama

I am pretty sure everyone by now knows what occurred at Fort Hood last Thursday, if not click here. Let me get to the ass-ripping part of the post.

As the days go by I believe more and more that President Obama does not deserve to be called president. “Oh my God, how can you say that?” As easily as I just typed “You are an idiot if you made that comment.” Obama first 288 days in office have been a failure, but don’t expect the media to tell you that. Especially, if you are watching CNN or MSNBC. Look what happened last week with the Democrat governors of New Jersey and Virginia – GONE !!

Thanks to President Obama for giving his critics, myself included, another reason to doubt his competency to serve as President of the United States and Commander in Chief. The president was notified immediately by his staff of what occurred at Ft. Hood on Thursday. It was said that he would issue a statement at 5 PM at the Tribal Nations Conference which was hosted by the Department of Interior’s Bureau of Indian affairs. He issued the statement. Normally, with such a tragedy occurring within the United States, a president should handle the delivery of such statement with humility, sorrow, and compassion. He did neither. Obama was anything but compassionate nor sympathetic towards the tragic situation the military was facing in Texas. He began the statement by thanking those who had made the conference a success including members of his Cabinet. Obama’s next few sentences went like this:

“I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow (ph) was around, and so I want to give a shout out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner. It’s good to see you.”

Three minutes into his statement, he finally started to talk about the tragic events in Ft. Hood. It is truly unbelievable that President Obama would issue such incentive comments at a point when 13 soldiers were killed and another 30 were wounded. Everyone in America was stunned except President Obama. Where is Obama’s heart when it comes to the men and women who serve this great country and shed their blood for our freedom? I can tell you that it is not with the armed forces. As of this day, we are still waiting for Obama to make up his mind and announce how many troops will he send to Afghanistan to eliminate the Taliban. Who was advising the president on that day because it felt like he was watching the Cartoon Network and I was watching Fox News. He didn’t seem to know the severity of the massacre in Ft. Hood. What does our future hold if America see’s another 9/11 style attack? I can tell you it does not look bright. Maybe he needs another Nobel Peace Prize to bring him back to reality.

Another sign that President Obama does not value the efforts put forth by our armed forces is the fact that he has not visited any of the wounded Ft. Hood troops. The attacks occurred 4 full days and no sign of the president. Today, there will be a memorial service for the fallen soldiers who died at the hands the terrorist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. Guess who is going to be there? That’s right, President Barack “I love to be in front of cameras” Obama. He will pretend to feel compassion while speaking at the service, but the damage has been done. We know the truth.

Did I mention who HAS visited Ft. Hood after the terrorist attack? No, here’s a clue: He has a ranch in Crawford, Texas. That’s right, President George W. Bush. What do you mean you didn’t see it on the news? Ohhhhh, that’s right. He visited the base in SECRECY !! He told base commander that he did not want press coverage of his visit with his wife, Laura. They spent one – two hours with the mourning families. That is how you do it folks. You don’t need cameras documenting every step of the way. If you are going to do something that comes from your heart, there is no need to show it off. Like Nike says, “Just Do It !!”
